PROTECT THE BAJA’S SACRED MOUNTAIN

Coffee Takeover + Wine Tasting @ Amor a Mí

about
Cuchumá, the sacred mountain of Tecate located along the Baja California–California border, is a key part of Indigenous worldview and a symbol of local identity.
Its integrity is now at risk due to heavy machinery and explosions being used to extend a metal border wall across the mountain, threatening Indigenous heritage, cultural memory, and the safety of nearby communities.
Given the cross-border nature of this issue and its direct impact on communities in Mexico,
through this event we have partnered with local Baja businesses to raise aid for those impacted in their community.

Our Dinner Experience this Saturday, May 23, will feature a four-course meal prepared by Chef Enrique Soltero, highlighting ingredients from Baja and showcasing the flavors of the region. The evening will be accompanied by a curated wine tasting from Cuchu Wines, also rooted in the same region, with thoughtfully selected wine pairings served alongside each course.
Priced at $85 per person, the experience includes both dinner and wine pairings. A portion of proceeds from this event will support families directly affected by the destruction of Cuchumá Mountain and ongoing impacts in the surrounding region. This event is for guests ages 21+. Please drink responsibly.
